P R O J E C T S

As a key subcontractor, Burr Construction Inc. managed the construction of two (2) Nuclear, Biological or Chemical Facilities at 62 and 43 Areas.  The project included the demolition of existing structures at the 62 Area site, grading work, concrete foundation, masonry walls, metal roof, doors, windows, mechanical ventilation system, lighting, electrical power connection and overhead electrical line extension to the site and incidental related work.  The work was located at MCB, Camp Pendleton, CA.  Each area included: mobilization; utility location and potholing; surveying; lead paint abatement; the demolition of Building 62378; clearing and grubbing; excavation and concrete pouring of the ditches, retaining wall footings, building footings and concrete pads; setting the door frames; constructing CMU block walls; installing new power poles; roofing; decking; framing; siding; electrical and mechanical installation; the construction of the interior ceilings; installation of all doors and hardware, painting; block sealant; pavement work; and HVAC systems. This project received the Navy’s Star Safety Excellence Award.
