This Design-Build project requires Burr to demolish and renovate Building 2650A and renovate both the interiors and exteriors and provide minor construction to Buildings 3735, 4900, 4904, and provide additional site work at Edwards AFB, CA. Additionally a CMU enclosure will be constructed adjacent to Building 3735. The minor construction of Building 3735 will include: design and construction of new interior framing, rough mechanical, electrical and plumbing, new gypsum board, insulation, hanging new doors with hardware, paint, millwork, cabinets, countertops, VCT flooring, restrooms and the completion of the MEP, as well as HAZMAT work, roof waterproof coating, accordion partition installation, an automatic sliding door, and cabinet countertops. The demolition of Building 4900 will include the removal of existing asphalt and construction of a CMU wall placed around the HVAC equipment as well as interior renovations such as: miscellaneous gypsum board repair, MEP, shade structure (outside), insulation, doors & hardware, paint, floor covering and new T-Bar panels. The minor construction to Building 2650A includes landscaping. The minor construction to Building 4904 demolition and saw-cutting approximately 120 linear feet x 12” wide for the existing plumbing and overhead door and lighting fixtures, as well interior work including: interior stud framing, rough MEP, gypsum board, finish MEP, insulation, doors & hardware, paint, VCT flooring, relocate industrial racks and ice maker and relocate existing roof ladder.
